As a Production Planner II here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will have the opportunity to join a team that is a key component in the Integrated Supply Chain organization, leading the way to building a plan to execution that supports our customers in the Aerospace Industry.
 

You will report directly to our Production Planning Manager and you’ll work out of our Mississauga, Ontario location. 


In this role, you will impact on the overall productivity and efficiency of our manufacturing operations by developing and maintaining effective production schedules that meet customer needs while minimizing costs and downtime.


ResponsibilitiesKEY RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop and maintain production schedules based on customer demand and inventory levels.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between production plans and supply chain capabilities.
  • Monitor production performance and adjust schedules as necessary to meet changing demands.
  • Develop and maintain MPS aligning to demand and capacity.
  • Review weekly metrics and ensure adherence to goals.

QualificationsThe Honeywell Aerospace building is a controlled goods program environment. Candidates must be eligible for CGP security clearance.
YOU MUST HAVE 
  • High School diploma
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in Supply Chain or Production Planning within a manufacturing environment.

WE VALUE
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience in production scheduling, planning and materials management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and influence others.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing principles.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret data to make informed decisions.
  • Proficiency in production planning tools and software, such as MRP or ERP systems.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles and practices.

The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 in Mississauga, Ontario. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
