As a Production Planner II here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing production schedules to ensure seamless supply chain operations. You will be responsible for coordinating complex production plans, analyzing demand and supply data, and collaborating with multiple departments to meet customer delivery requirements and improve overall operational efficiency.


You will report directly to our Production Planning Manager and you’ll work out of our Greer, NC location on an On-site work schedule.


In this role, you will impact the efficiency and reliability of the production process by ensuring accurate scheduling, timely material availability, and proactive resolution of supply chain challenges, contributing to customer satisfaction and business growth.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain detailed master production schedules to align supply with demand effectively.
  • Analyze production performance metrics and adjust schedules to meet delivery deadlines and optimize resource utilization.
  • Collaborate closely with procurement, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure material availability and resolve supply chain issues promptly.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production planning processes and overall supply chain efficiency.
Qualifications

YOU MUST HAVE

  • Experience in production planning or supply chain management within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong expertise in production scheduling, inventory control, and material requirements planning (MRP) systems.
  • Proficiency with ERP software such as SAP or PeopleSoft to manage production data and schedules.
  • Ability to analyze complex demand and supply data to optimize production plans and resolve scheduling conflicts.

  • Experience with Sales, Inventory & Operations Planning (SIOP) and inventory optimization techniques.
