True North Salmon, a division of Cooke Aquaculture Inc., a dynamic and growing east coast family company, with Platinum Member status in the Canada’s Best Managed Companies Program has an opportunity for a highly motivated individual to join the Company’s Production Team based out of our facility located in St. George, NB.

The Role
As a result of our robust growth, we are adding a Production Optimization Manager to our team of professionals. This is a Monday to Friday day shift position. Reporting to the VP of Processing, the successful candidate will:
- Provide coaching, guidance, leadership and direction for a enhanced operational/production staff.
- Daily Measure of KPI's.
- Recognize opportunities for improvement, cost reduction and increased productivity.
- Ability to create and implement internal improvement projects.
- Be able to exercise the necessary authority to assure policies and procedures are followed and time frames are met.
- Have excellent people management and communication skills to foster effective staff and organizational relationships.
- Possess a high attention to detail and quality, time management and organizational skills, and the ability to meet cost and schedule requirements.
- Will be required to work some weekends, and be on call.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a deadline driven, fast paced environment and should possess a minimum of 3-5 years supervisory experience completed by above average computer skills. Experience and/or training in production will be considered asset.
