Production Operative Jobs in Andover at Stannah Dedicated Homelifts Business - Join Our Team!

We have an exciting opportunity for a Production Operative to join Stannah Dedicated Homelifts Business based in Pioneer Road, Andover.

This role will involve producing hand-built home lift sub-assemblies and components, working to manufacturing orders, standard operating procedures, and quality standards to meet production demand. You will also support the wider manufacturing team and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

As the Production Operative, you will work Monday to Thursday 06:00 to 14:30, Friday 06:00 to 11:00. This job is a permanent contract.

To be successful as the Production Operative, it is essential that you have experience using basic hand tools and can work effectively in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change. Experience within a manufacturing environment would be desirable.

Production Operative Responsibilities:

  • Produce sub-assemblies and components in line with manufacturing orders, SOPs, and quality standards.
  • Support the manufacturing team to ensure production targets and customer demand are met.
  • Interpret and report production data using the ERP system and electronic tablets.
  • Participate in 5S, lean manufacturing, and continuous improvement activities.
  • Work safely at all times, complying with company risk assessments and PPE requirements.

Qualifications

Production Operative Requirements:

  • Experience using basic hand tools.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic manufacturing environment with changing priorities.
  • Comfortable using electronic tablets and systems to record and report data.
  • Previous manufacturing or production experience is desirable.
