- Oversee daily production operations to ensure compliance with quality standards, design requirements, and delivery commitments.
- Develop and execute production plans that optimize the use of manpower, materials, and equipment to achieve operational targets.
- Monitor production costs, identify variances, and implement cost-control measures. Drive lean manufacturing initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement to enhance efficiency and reduce waste.
- Manage production and material planning to align with delivery schedules and customer priorities.
- Identify and address production bottlenecks, risks, and capacity constraints through proactive planning and coordination.
- Ensure compliance with customer requirements and relevant statutory and regulatory standards.
- Review workflows and implement process adjustments to improve productivity and output reliability.
- Ensure production processes adhere to ISO 9000 and other applicable quality management systems.
- Lead initiatives to reduce quality costs and improve process consistency.
- Analyze workflows to minimize cycle time, optimize material utilization, and enhance overall efficiency.
- Apply lean methodologies and continuous improvement tools to prevent defects and sustain performance gains.
- Establish departmental policies, KPIs, and performance targets aligned with company objectives.
- Manage and develop team members through regular coaching, training, and performance evaluations.
- Promote effective communication, teamwork, and accountability within the department
- Ensure all operations comply with occupational health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Promote a strong safety culture through regular inspections, awareness sessions, and preventive initiatives.
Requirements
- Local Vietnamese or Expatriates, aged from 40 to 50 years old
- University graduation in the field of Mechanical or Technical Engineering
- Knowledge about steel fabrication, welding, painting, shipping, planning, store control …...
- 7-year experience in Production in FDI manufacturing company of which at least 3 years worked as Production Manager in the steel structure/ PEB fabrication factory with size of 400 workers and above, target from 4000-6000 MT/ month
- Proficient in MS Office, AutoCAD and computer skills
- Excellent in English communication skills
- Team work, leadership, staff management and development, organized, systematic

Skills Required
- University graduation in Mechanical or Technical Engineering
