We currently have an opportunity for a Production Manager at our Manufacturing Facility in to join our team located at our facility in Jacksonville, IL (West Plant).

Eligible candidates will receive a $15,000 sign-on bonus in accordance with the company's sign-on bonus policy.
As a Production Manager, you will have an opportunity to lead manufacturing operations and supporting functions to deliver safe, high-quality, cost-effective production. Manages salaried, hourly, and agency employees while aligning workforce, equipment, and resources to established business goals. Drives operational performance through workforce development, productivity management, quality improvement, cost control, and Lean manufacturing practices. Partners across functions to support new product launches, clarify product requirements, address quality trends, and improve manufacturing performance. Provides direction and accountability for departmental results while influencing plant performance, equipment utilization, and continuous improvement across the operation.

Environmental, Health, and Safety
- Promote and uphold environmental, health, and safety principles to maintain a safe manufacturing operation.
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety policies and facility plans to reduce operational risk.
Quality
- Monitor internal quality and customer complaint trends and initiate corrective actions to minimize or eliminate quality issues.
- Partner with product development and marketing teams to support successful new product launches and ensure product specifications are clear and accurate.
- Ensure quality requirements and established quality practices are consistently followed across manufacturing operations.
Productivity & Operations
- Build and maintain an effective workforce through hiring, training, coaching, and performance management consistent with established policies and practices.
- Establish departmental goals and objectives and evaluate results to maximize manufacturing output.
- Maintain accurate and timely reporting of critical manufacturing outcomes, including efficiency, downtime, and cost.
- Communicate plant performance, operational issues, and equipment utilization to stakeholders across the organization.
- Apply Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods to improve productivity, equipment effectiveness, and operational performance.

Education/Experience
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience to successfully perform the essential functions of the position.
- 6+ years of progressive process improvement experience in a manufacturing environment.
Preferred
- Advanced degree in Business, Engineering, Operations, Manufacturing, or a related field.
- Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methods preferred.

- Team management experience with a demonstrated ability to develop, coach, and mentor a diverse workforce.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within high-performing teams.
- Ability to analyze operational performance and translate results into actions that improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost.

Posted Salary RangeUSD $98,400.00 - USD $139,000.00 /A Bonus EligibilityRole is eligible for 10% annual incentive provided the business meets financial goals and the individual meets their performance goals, subject to plan administration guidelines.Skills Required
