The Production Manager will have the responsibility and authority for planning, organizing and controlling the automated blow molding and auxiliary molding equipment. You will be responsible for the daily operation of the plant and overseeing all departments and have knowledge of various products orders by following all material requirements and customer specifications.

You Will:

  • Develop plans for efficient use of materials, machines and employees

  • Ensure products are in accordance with customer specified requirements

  • Report on the effectiveness and performance of the production activities to the Site Manager and Plant Steering Team

  • Inform Site Manager of any changes in production

  • Meet with Quality, Logistics, and Maintenance Managers to discuss all relative policies and procedures and resolve any problems

  • Ensure that the Plant Quality Policy, Operational Procedure and High Standards of Workmanship are maintained at all times

  • Resolve machinery and quality problems in the Conversion department

  • Responsible for maintaining ISO Standards for the entire plant

  • Initiate action for food safety issues

  • Promote awareness for process approach

  • Promote continual Improvement

  • All other duties as assigned

You Have:

  • B.A or B.S. in Industrial Technology or related fields, with emphasis on plastics and/or related experience

  • Team oriented and self - motivated

  • Must have flexibility of job assignment.

  • Blend of technical and interpersonal skills

  • Must possess strong leadership skills

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Must be able to build a strong working relationship with customers
