⏰ Start date: ASAP

📍Zürich, Switzerland (on-site, remote not possible)

🦾 Full-time (100%)

Your role

As Production Manager at Loki, you will build the production operations, processes, and team that will allow us to scale rapidly. You will bridge the gap between R&D and production, turning evolving designs into robots we can build reliably and efficiently. This is a hands-on role. Early on, you will define our processes, source parts, setup ERP, and jump in wherever needed. As we grow, you will hire and build the entire production, quality and procurement team.

What you will be doing

  • Set up our production space, tools, and processes so we can build faster.

  • Plan production and manage its day-to-day.

  • Own component and assembly quality.

  • Handle supply chain and build strong supplier relationships.

  • Work closely with R&D to make our robots easier to manufacture and assemble.

  • Set up stock management.

  • Design and implement QA processes to ensure the robots we build actually work.

  • Recruit, lead, and develop the team that will take production to the next level.

What you should have

  • 3+ years of experience in hardware manufacturing, with responsibility for production planning, assembly processes, and QA testing.

  • The ability to bring structure to an environment where designs, priorities, and processes change rapidly.

  • Experience setting up production / inventory software.

  • An organized, pragmatic approach: you introduce enough structure to keep production reliable while keeping processes simple.

  • The ability to take full ownership of production while working effectively with the entire team when needed.

  • The ability to motivate and lead a team, delegate responsibility, and help others grow.

  • Lean manufacturing knowledge.

These skills are a plus

  • Hands on experience assembling robots or similar electromechanical systems.

  • Experience in procurement and supplier management.

  • Industrialization experience, taking products from prototypes into repeatable production.

You will be the first dedicated member of the production team at Loki. Your work will heavily contribute towards scaling our robot fleet.

Don't worry if you don't hit every check-mark. We value people who learn fast and care about building great products. Just give it a go and apply.
