Who will you be working with?
You will be working with a team of service technicians and will report directly to the department supervisor, and indirectly to the Service Center manager.
How will you make a difference?
The Production Lead is responsible for meeting customer delivery requirements and ensuring the quality of work produced by employees. This individual is responsible for communication of job assignments, training for specific product runs, and placement of Line Workers in assignments as required for the day.
What do we want to know about you?
Minimum Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three to five years’ experience in warehouse environment.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- MS Office; Oracle ERP; Internet software; Manufacturing software and Contact Management systems.
- Knowledge of inventory tracking systems, cycle counting and stock rotation.
- Knowledge of Quality Control practices, such as receiving verification, damage inspection, and reconciliation process.
- OSHA safety compliance knowledge preferred.
- Teamwork and ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.
- Customer service and communication skills – verbal and written for interdepartmental coordination.
- Problem solving capabilities and conflict resolution, and ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to delegate work assignments and monitor delegated activities.
- Time management and prioritization skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing needs of the department and operations.
What will your typical day look like?
- Verifies components on work orders to ensure the correct number of components are available for orders.
- Plans, directs and assesses the work of the team.
- Monitors the daily work of the team to ensure the department meets production goals.
- Trains and ensures employees are utilizing proper PPE for each area.
- Ensure all employees follow the safety regulations and best practices.
- Ensures a safe working environment, good housekeeping and 5’s for their respective area.
- Reviews and perform daily production plan and sequence for Teardown, Assembly, and Testing.
- Assigns daily tasks to Overhaul Technicians.
- Ensures the production plan is posted and clear for all associates.
- Trains and support associates per assigned role for the day.
- Updates production metrics and results.
- Completes final inspection to ensure content is accurate.
- Prepare production documents and quality checks.
- Plan Material Handlers tasks and activities to provide components for production as required.
- Actively participates in Kaizen events and continuous improvement activities (CIA’s).
- Addresses department issues, concerns, complaints and offers solutions to resolving problems.
- Escalate production issues to Production Supervisor as needed.
- Performs quality audits of the production stations.
- Ensures inventory accuracy.

The hourly rate for this position is in the range of $29.00 to $32.00 per hour.
