SHIFT: Grave Shift (Monday - Friday; 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM)

Job Summary:
This role is responsible for assigning daily tasks to Manufacturing Associates, organizing break schedules, and making real-time adjustments throughout the shift as needed. The Production Lead monitors work center performance, addresses issues impacting quality or efficiency, and helps maintain a safe, productive, and collaborative work environment.
Essential Job Duties
- Support Production Supervisor by establishing Manufacturing Associates work assignments, break schedules and adjustments throughout the shift.
- Serve as “Point of Contact” for production floor status, including current issues affecting the process.
- Verify OMS accuracy and suggest any necessary redlines to Engineering and Quality. Follow up with Document Control if there are any discrepancies
- Verify Work Order completion and initiate Line Clearance and that all documents are accurate.
- Confirm at job start-up that the work center is organized, the Component Stager has provided all needed tools and packaging, and that it is staffed to minimize downtime.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 years’ experience as a leader in a production environment
- The ability to follow oral and written instructions and to understand, speak and read English
- Experience in assembly and/or medical manufacturing preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Must be a self-starter, able to work with minimum supervision
- Computer Skills (Internet, Word, Excel, Outlook, IQ, etc)
- Must be proficient in counting and math
ADA Requirements:
- Stand, walk, bend, squat, twist, reach or otherwise move about frequently
- Occasional repetitive motion and grasping
- Occasional climbing to reach areas on machines or racks
- Lift, move or otherwise transfer up to 50 lbs. occasionally, >20 lbs. frequently
- Typically sits, grasps items or performs keyboarding for occasional operation of a computer
- Required to have visual acuity to determine the accuracy, neatness, thoroughness of work assigned or to make general observations of facilities or structures
- Subject to noise, vibration, indoor and outdoor environmental conditions and atmospheric conditions to include fumes, odors, dust, mists, gases or poor ventilation
