Production Engineer

Established in 1961, Malayan Flour Mills Berhad (MFM) is the pioneer in the flour milling industry in Malaysia. MFM has grown to become the leading flour miller in Malaysia with regional presence in Vietnam and Indonesia. Over the years, we have expanded into poultry integration, aquaculture, and raw material trading. In FY24, the group revenue was RM3.12 billion.

MFM is one of the major poultry integrators in poultry feeds, breeding, farming with a state-of-the-art processing facility across the poultry value chain. Designed to meet the domestic and international markets, the advanced facility will process up to 300,000 birds per day.

1. Implement the assigned production plan, including wheat intake, wheat cleaning, and flour milling, with high accuracy and efficiency.

2. Operate wheat cleaning and/or flour milling production lines as assigned by the Shift Miller or Chief Miller to achieve target efficiency, extraction rates, capacity, and product quality.

3. Carry out in‑house maintenance, minor engineering repairs, and housekeeping tasks according to the planned schedule.

4. Perform accurate sampling, measurements, recording, reporting, and filing of production data throughout the shift.

5. Report any abnormal equipment symptoms or breakdowns promptly and monitor maintenance work performed by the Engineering team to minimize production downtime.

6. Continuously learn and develop knowledge of production processes, equipment operations, raw materials, and final products through on‑the‑job training and relevant courses.

7. Lead and support Kaizen activities by proposing and implementing improvement projects to enhance product quality, increase speed, reduce costs, and strengthen process reliability.

8. Ensure full compliance with audit standards and customer requirements from wheat cleaning through milling and finished goods packing.

9. Perform any additional tasks or assignments as directed by management.

• Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.

• Fresh graduates are strongly encouraged to apply.
