Job Title: Production Engineer II
Job Duties: The Raymond Corporation seeks a Production Engineer II in Greene, NY, to lead manufacturing engineering projects that are simple to semi-complex in nature working under supervision. Participate as a key team member on large cross-functional project teams. Perform a variety of engineering work in support of projects such as combination tables, value stream maps, work cell layouts, technical specifications, evaluations of solutions and suppliers, leading design reviews, leading acceptance testing events, and managing resolution of issues. Present project status to senior management and executive level staff with support of supervision. Local telecommuting available up to 1 day a week. May travel to various and unanticipated worksites hroughout the United States 5-10%. Annual salary: $73,840 to $115,495.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field plus 1 year of engineering experience in:
1. Planning, organizing, and carrying out manufacturing engineering activities and providing technical leadership for small cross-functional teams;
2. Delivering projects using Industrial Engineering and TPS tools;
3. Root cause analysis using multiple tools;
4. Microsoft Project, Power Point, Excel, and Word;
5. 2-D AutoCAD for plant layouts;
6. CNC lathes and integrated handling systems;
7. Robotic welding of cylinder housings;
8. Leading capital equipment projects under a detailed project schedule to budget under guided supervision;
9. Overseeing relationships with external equipment and fixture suppliers for assigned projects;
10. Recommending changes in project direction using a data-based approach; and,
11. Providing oral and written presentations.
