The Role
Prepares BOMs and costing sheets, analyzes material consumption and margins, monitors hosiery production, coordinates raw-material procurement, maintains Excel MIS reports, supports production scheduling, negotiates vendor rates, and ensures quality standards. The role works closely with design, sourcing, production, and vendors to maintain accurate planning, costing, inventory, and timely delivery of infant and children’s garments.

• Prepare detailed Bill of Materials (BOM) for each design/style.
• Create and maintain costing sheets for accurate price estimation and margin analysis.
• Coordinate with design, sourcing, and production teams to ensure accurate material planning and consumption tracking.
• Monitor daily production activities on the manufacturing line for infant/kids hosiery garments.
• Ensure timely procurement and availability of raw materials as per the BOM.
• Analyze material usage vs. standard consumption and highlight variances.

Requirements
Key Skills & Qualifications:
• Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in hosiery manufacturing, especially baby suits or kids wear.
• Strong expertise in preparing BOMs and cost sheets.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas, etc.).
• Sound understanding of garment production processes, fabric consumption, and trims/accessories.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Knowledge of ERP systems (preferred but not mandatory).
