Description

The Arc Madison Cortland is looking for a full time, energetic and highly organized individual to support the Integrated Business Department.

Summary

Assists in the oversight, setup, development, execution, and quality control of industrial contract work and all production needs. Assist individuals with developmental disabilities with skill acquisition, improvement in self-help, and adaptive skills. Assists in scheduling all contract work and workforce to ensure that deadlines and cost structures are met. Develops efficiencies to improve contract output and manpower. Documents production output for billing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Work is to include but not limited to:

  • Material handling for production and shipment preparation, completion of contract work to meet customers’ demands, perform quality assurance, monitor and maintain internal and customer requirements.
  • Provide oversight and assistance in the absence of the Production Manager. 
  • Monitors and reports all safety issues within the physical plant and makes recommendations to Supervisor.
  • Schedules all contracts and workforce in cooperation with manager to expedite deadlines and streamline production.
  • Documents and submit reports to the program as outlined in the assigned department.

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or GED; Industrial experience in a manufacturing setting preferred.
