Job Summary
Scattermesh is expanding its team and we are looking to hire experienced Production Coordinators to work across client projects on a full time basis on-site in Herndon, VA. This role requires experience in a strong mind for procedure and organization. The ideal candidate has strong note taking skills and memory recall. Candidates applying should have experience in coordinating creative projects in film/animation/games or other related fields.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Facilitate - Learn the pipeline and workflow. Understand the various stages of production. Work with our teams to help them do their jobs as efficiently as possible.
- Deliver - Track deadlines delivering quality products on time by coordinating the moving pieces ensuring all parties are equipped with what they need to get their jobs done.
- Maintain Order - Learn and maintain the various systems we use to catalogue and archive files and associated content.
- Create Systems - Find ways to improve what we do by analyzing our procedures for failure points/slowdowns and build systems that make our organization stronger.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong written and verbal skills
- Experienced communicator
- Experience in a creative production environment
- Art/Film/Gaming/Creative background and/or degree
- Strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of Production Management solutions like Kitsu, Shotgrid, FTrack, or similar
- Enjoys repetitive tasks
- Intermediate skill in Microsoft Excel or equivalent software
- Python/Scripting knowledge is a plus
- US citizenship required
