In this role, you will coordinate daily execution to meet safety, quality, delivery, cost, and productivity targets. Your responsibilities
  • Lead and develop production supervisors and shop-floor teams, strengthening accountability, collaboration, competence, engagement, and safety.
  • Ensure daily production follows the production plan, customer priorities, and agreed lead times. Manage capacity, workforce allocation, shifts, and resource use.
  • Monitor and improve HSE, quality, delivery, productivity, cost, and efficiency KPIs. Identify bottlenecks and coordinate corrective actions for stable flow and reliable delivery.
  • Drive continuous improvement through waste reduction, standardization, and productivity initiatives. Support the ramp-up of new equipment, technologies, products, and production processes.
  • Partner with Planning & Logistics, Quality, Maintenance, Manufacturing Engineering, HSE, and HR to solve operational issues. Ensure compliance with Valmet standards, procedures, and applicable legal and regulatory requirements.
Expectations for you
  • You have a completed university degree, preferably in Production Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.
  • You bring management experience from industrial environments.
  • You have strong people leadership and production management skills, with a hands-on approach.
  • You use analytical and problem-solving skills and work effectively across functions in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  • You are available to work on-site in Vespasiano.
  • English proficiency is desirable.
