POSITION SUMMARY

The Production Coordinator is responsible for inventory tracking and movement, SAP transactions, and monitoring production control through internal tools, as well as ordering consumable products.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Inventory Accuracy

Assist in monitoring inventory levels for raw and intermediate materials and initiates replenishment process based on pre-set levels. Participates in physical inventories and consolidates cycle counts. Reconciles discrepancies in inventories for incoming materials. Notifies supervisor of irregularities and when stock reaches designated reorder point. Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of inventories and computes inventory balances, prices and costs.

Monitoring Production Orders

Reconciles deviations on production orders to ensure timely closure. Reviews discrepancies and coordinates with production control and operations corrective actions to eliminate future deviations.

SAP Transactions

Work with operations on managing the scrap process: SAP transactions, physical movement, and cycle counts. Perform SAP transactions, including production order creation, to support the manufacturing process in Plant 1.

Consumable Product Ordering

Responsible for ordering supplies that support the manufacturing operations in Plant 1. Coordinates toll processing for external vendors: insures creation of process orders and purchase requisitions. Insures that all records are accurate and maintained including SAP entries. Monitors weight of material (in/out) reporting and responding to discrepancies.

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • High School Diploma or Vocational Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment, plus one year experience with SAP or other inventory management program.
  • Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products and email.
  • Fluent English

The selection of the person to be hired for this position is contingent on the candidate having export compliance eligibility for access to U.S. controlled technology which comes under the licensing jurisdiction of the U.S. Department of State, International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the U.S. Department of Commerce, Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
