This role is part of our Space and Launch business, which has contributed to the nation’s space programs for decades by delivering complete solutions from concept to flight. We enable successful space operations with mission-critical technology supporting every step from first launch to final landing, including launch vehicle subsystems, propulsion systems, aerodynamic and interstage systems, and payload protection and deployment. Our high-performance solutions are engineered to operate in the most extreme environments and meet precise mission requirements.

As a Production Control professional, you will coordinate material flow, support scheduling, and maintain production efficiency across manufacturing operations. You will collaborate closely with planning, warehouse, engineering, quality, and inspection teams to ensure timely delivery, accurate documentation, and smooth manufacturing workflows.

Responsibilities

• Operates machinery to support production processes.
• Assists with loading raw materials onto production lines and transporting materials as needed.
• Communicates effectively with coworkers to meet deadlines and maintain efficient production flow.
• Works closely with the inspection department to support production needs.
• Assists with lifting, carrying, and moving heavy loads as required.
• Coordinates and expedites material workflow according to the production schedule.
• Performs administrative and logistics tasks within production.
• Interfaces with planning, warehouse, engineering, and quality teams to support program efficiency.
• Tracks all internal and external jobs, including shop orders, purchase orders, outside processing, discrepant materials, and customer deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent.
• Experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and OneNote.
• Experience using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems such as Epicor.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate’s degree.
• Two or more years of manufacturing or production experience.

This position requires U.S. person status under U.S. export control laws, including U.S. citizens and nationals, lawful permanent residents, refugees, and asylees.

Skills Required

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • AA degree in Supply Chain, Manufacturing, or related discipline
  • 2+ years in a manufacturing and production environment
  • Proficient in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneNote
  • Epicor or other ERP experience
