| Who We Are Looking For
Slate is seeking an experienced SAP leader to support the Warsaw, IN Production Control through both the SAP S/4HANA implementation and ongoing production support after go-live. This is an on-site role reporting into Production Control. During implementation, the role will translate Slate's shop-floor, manufacturing, finance, and supply chain requirements into a scalable SAP solution and own User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with Production Control and plant operations stakeholders. Post go-live, the role transitions into day-to-day production support for the Warsaw plant, resolving issues, maintaining configuration, and keeping SAP aligned with evolving plant operations.
| WORK AUTHORIZATION REQUIREMENT:
Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States on a permanent basis. We are unable to offer visa sponsorship at this time.
| What You Get To Do:
Lead end-to-end SAP S/4HANA implementation activities for the Warsaw plant, including business process design, configuration, testing, cutover, and go-live support.
Design and configure core Finance and Controlling (FICO) processes, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cost Center Accounting, and Product Costing.
Partner with cross-functional teams to integrate FICO with Materials Management (MM), Procure-to-Pay (PTP), Order-to-Cash (OTC), Plan-to-Make (PTM), Logistics Execution (LEX), and Inventory Management (IM) work streams.
Conduct business process workshops and fit-gap analysis, and prepare business blueprint and functional specification documentation.
Manage data migration and cutover activities from legacy systems to SAP, including master and transactional data, using tools such as LSMW, IDOC, and Winshuttle.
Design and support EDI/IDOC/ALE/RFC interfaces between SAP and other enterprise systems (e.g., MES, PLM, Ariba, Concur, Salesforce).
Collaborate with ABAP developers on custom reports, BAPIs, user exits, BADIs, and WRICEF objects to extend standard SAP functionality.
Develop and execute test scenarios, coordinate unit and integration testing, and secure business sign-off.
Own User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for the SAP implementation: build the UAT plan and test scripts with Production Control and plant operations, coordinate UAT cycles, track and triage defects, and obtain formal sign-off before go-live.
Create end-user training materials and lead training sessions for Production Control, finance, controlling, and operations teams.
Serve as the on-site point of escalation for day-to-day SAP production support issues at the Warsaw plant, ensuring timely resolution in line with SLAs.
Monitor and maintain SAP configuration and interfaces supporting Warsaw plant operations, proactively identifying and resolving recurring issues.
Support period-end close, data validation, and internal/external audit requests for the Warsaw plant's Finance and Controlling processes.
Partner with plant operations, Production Control, and IT to assess and implement change requests, enhancements, and minor configuration updates post go-live.
Ensure the implementation and ongoing support model align with Slate's broader enterprise application roadmap and governance standards.
