The Production Control Coordinator is part of the Production Control team and supports the planning and scheduling of work orders in accordance with the production schedule. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate production and inventory data, supporting daily operations, and coordinating with multiple departments to ensure smooth workflow execution.

Job Summary

  • Generate and maintain manufacturing work orders in accordance with the production schedule
  • Provide inventory status and availability information to support sales and production requirements
  • Process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and update affected work orders accordingly
  • Assist with daily production meetings and provide status updates as needed
  • Perform general clerical and data entry tasks related to Production Control activities
  • Coordinate and communicate with other departments including Planning, Purchasing, Engineering, Inventory, and Manufacturing
  • Maintain accurate and timely records within the ERP system
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Production Control Manager
Qualifications
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment (planning, production control, or expediting)
  • ERP system experience (SYSPRO preferred)
  • Strong computer skills and comfort working in multiple systems
  • Excellent organizational and time‑management skills
  • Proactive and professional communicator, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to input data quickly and accurately
  • Flexibility to work overtime as production demands require
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus

Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Five or more years’ experience in a manufacturing environment preferably in planning, production control or expediting
  • Fluent in Microsoft Suite including Word and Excel
 

 

Working Conditions & Required Physical Requirements of Position:

  • Climate‑controlled warehouse and office environment
  • Combination of standing, walking, and sitting for extended periods
  • Ability to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds

Schedule:

  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime as required
  • Weekend availability

  • Fort Worth, TX 76155: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
  • Work Location: In person

Skills Required

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in planning, production control, or expediting
  • Five or more years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in planning, production control, or expediting
  • Experience with an ERP system; SYSPRO preferred
  • Strong computer skills and comfort working in multiple systems
  • Fluent in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
