Job Overview:
The Production Control Associate works closely with all departments. Under the Planning Manager’s supervision, performs a wide variety of tasks in support of the planning duties using established procedures.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Support shipping department, making sure they receive each day’s orders to ship according to promise date.
- Assists in communications with production with regards to open orders, late shipment notifications, expedite requests, and other various customer enquiries.
- Assists in ensuring timely order release to include support of actual kitting and/or release of raw materials to the factory.
- Collects data as requested for performance metric reporting.
- Assists in other production or related support functions as time permits.

- A High School diploma or equivalent is required.
- Proven experience in fast-paced materials environment.

- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
- Requires superior organizational, accountability, and tracking skills.
- General working knowledge ERP software a plus.
- All applicants must be eligible to work in the US without restriction to ITAR documentation and materials.
