Job Description
Position Summary:Plan, schedules and monitors the movement of material through the production cycle. Determine material requirements from engineering and production schedules. Coordinate the efficient movement of materials with purchasing, production and engineering. Develop specifications for new contract orders.
You will report to our PCA Team Lead located in Monterret
Main Responsibilities:
Follow up to expedites with Sourcing/suppliers daily. Prepare information for service Review meeting as roots cause and action plan weekly. Review and adjust Safety stock and reorder point monthly. Analyze and update SAP parameters quarterly. Participate in transfer product meeting and provide a schedule for pilots weekly.
Conduct a 1:1 with final assy PCAs Handshake.
Ensure delivery confirmations with vendor and reflect dates in SAP (daily).
You will ensure escalation of critical components as C1, C1A, CSR (daily).
Provide blocked invoice solution with vendor and AP (weekly).
Purchase requisition conversion to PO (weekly).
Follow up to tracking numbers and solve any dock/receive issue in coordination with logistics (daily).
Ensure STO compliance for raw materials with shipping area (weekly)
Follow up STO aging report from internal Rockwell plants (daily)
ECO Review with Ops coordinator to assign the correct effective date (weekly)
Create return PO supporting quality team (daily)
Attend and participate on Kata meetings (daily)
The Essentials – You will Have:
Education: Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, Materials Management, Purchasing, Supply Chain Management or a related.
5 years of experience as direct buyer.
SAP experience
English Advanced Level
Excel advanced level
Purchasing experience in a manufacturing or services environment is helpful
Influence peers and lead teams.
Exposure to concepts of contract negotiation and conflict resolution.
