 What You’ll Do:

As a Production Associate, you’ll oversee daily store operations, drive sales, and lead a team committed to excellence. You’ll play a key role in supporting our mission to enable employment by providing opportunities for personal and professional growth, while committing to sustainable practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receives, prepares, sorts, prices, and rotates stock for retail floor and conducts quality control. 
  • Operates department equipment and machinery, prepares goods for sale, procession, or storage. 
  • Performs inventories, tallies, or other forms of tracking as required for the retail environment. 
  • Assists GoodWorks staff with implementation of work plans and guidelines as established for client programs, as assigned by store manager. 
  • Interacts effectively with customers by maintaining providing excellent customer service, resolving problems within the scope of the role to the customer’s satisfaction in a timely, effective, and respectful manner.

  • Speak and understand the English language sufficient to read materials, communicate with customers and coworkers. 


  • Able to maintain the physical requirements of the working environment.  

  • Perform simple mathematical calculations. 


Education and Experience: 


  • Experience that would lend itself to good customer service is highly desirable. 

  • Previous experience in a retail or comparable environment is preferred.

Medium physical demand level 



  • While performing these duties, the employee is regularly required to sit and stand for prolonged periods of time; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk and hear. Frequently required to walk and/or stands for up to 8 hours per day.  


  • Must regularly lift, carry, and/or move up to 20 pounds and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Ability to push/pull and carry up to 30 pounds. Kneels, stoops, and bends frequently.  

  • Occasional need to push heavy, wheeled carts, pallet jacks, hand trucks and other material handling equipment with loads weighing up to 250 pounds.  

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision.  

  • Work is performed primarily indoors in a climate-controlled space. May occasionally perform work in outside weather conditions.
