The Production and Supply Material Planner will be responsible for meeting customer demands whilst also considering production efficiencies and maintaining optimum inventory levels. The role will ensure the efficient execution of ordering and delivery of materials to meet production requirements using the MRP functionality in SAP.
This is a 12-month fixed-term position.
About the role

  • Produce an achievable and dynamic detailed Schedule that takes into account customer requirements, production efficiencies and availability of packaging material
  • Ensure up to date and accurate information is kept on supply issues
  • Monitor schedule adherence daily, taking corrective action where required with root cause analysis, and report
  • Support the NPD process by attending the project meetings, setting up new materials and scheduling initial production runs
  • Ensure packaging materials are available for production


About you

  • Knowledge of S&OP practices
  • Understanding of Supply Chain processes
  • 3-5 years' experience in FMCG environment (desirable)
  • Demonstrated experience in Supply Planning, Production Planning or related disciplines
  • Good collaboration skills in order to work across all layers of country, sales and supply organizations
