Senior Product Manager, Platform
Atlassian can hire people in any country where we have a legal entity, assuming candidates have eligible working rights and a sufficient timezone overlap with their team. As our offices re-open, Atlassians can choose to work remotely or return to an office, unless it's necessary for the role to be performed in the office. We are looking for a Senior Product Manager for Atlassian's Unified Store Platform team. You will play a vital role in designing and delivering a backend ecosystem that will enable us to accelerate value creation for our global customers. Initiative and curiosity are essential as we design and implement our next-gen B2B marketing and e-commerce platform. We need you to be eager to deliver across the entirety of the product development lifecycle.
In this role, you will:
- Own the entire platform from frontend to backend and work with SRE's, Engineers and cross-functional partners to guide platform strategy
- Define success metrics, track key business and usage analytics
- Help design tools that aid developers run their services
- Closely partner with the experimentation team and other partners to ideate and work on technical design
- Contribute to the product roadmap and set expectations with significant partners
- Help the team with defining success metrics for platform initiatives
- Evaluate existing problems for our Platform engineers and craft infrastructure improvements
- Research trends, new technologies and innovations
On your first day, we will expect you to have:
- Understanding of web architecture principles and protocols
- Experience building platform services and APIs
- 4+ years crafting and delivering products in a product management role, preferably in the e-Commerce domain using Agile methodologies
- You encourage your team to build better products that deliver high customer value and drive strategic impact
- Awesome track record with engineers and cross functional partners: people want to work with you!
- You have a data-informed mindset, you're passionate about experimentation and A/B testing
- Ability to communicate directly and clearly
- Attention to detail; we want you to sweat the small things just as much as the big things
- Self-aware with a strong desire to learn and continuously improve.
It is great, but not required, if you have:
- Domain knowledge in e-commerce and/or analytics
- Agile training
