ABOUT THE TEAM 


The Product team at Side drives product vision, strategic planning, problem definition and prioritization, and the design, rollout, and measurement of new products and features. The team is responsible for delivering products that impact the business and measuring that impact against well-defined success outcomes.


We build products iteratively based on data-directed insights and user feedback, and generate insightful hypotheses about our users and their needs. We regularly collaborate with internal partners and are in a unique position of easy access to users for real time feedback due to our close partnerships with our customers & their teams. 


We believe that collaboration, teamwork, and communication are critical to the product development process. We strive to communicate clearly, manage expectations proactively, and exercise full transparency with our partners and teammates. 


The team as a whole is organized around five areas of ownership: Partner Marketing, Transaction Platform, Market Expansion, Payment Processing, and Internal Business Systems.


Our Partner Marketing solution is a suite of systems and tools designed to help our partners and agents grow their businesses. It includes our website development platform, our marketing automation and CRM solutions, as well as other solutions to build brand awareness and generate/nurture new opportunities.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Build business cases, define and prioritize product requirements, and contribute to roadmap planning
  • Work directly with our partner agents to understand how we can help them market their services more effectively
  • Collaborate with our Partner Marketing and Customer Success teams on solution requirements and priorities
  • Collaborate with our Product Design and Engineering to design and deliver delightful customer experiences
  • Collaborate with our Launch and Customer Care teams to build playbooks for how we implement, service, and support our solutions
  • Collaborate with our GTM team to create and execute rollout plans.
  • Evaluate 3rd party solutions and apply frameworks to make appropriate build vs buy decisions
  • Define business goals, success criteria, functional requirements, and acceptance criteria for product deliverables
  • Monitor key performance metrics to ensure product performance and identify optimization opportunities

WHAT WOULD MAKE YOU A STRONG FIT FOR THE ROLE?

  • 5+ years’ product management experience, preferably in B2B SaaS
  • Experience with website development platforms and/or sales and marketing automation solutions
  • Experience integrating a diverse set of technologies and processes into a cohesive product
  • Demonstrated skills in crafting product roadmaps, defining functional requirements and acceptance criteria, and launching new product features
  • Experience working directly with customers and with interdisciplinary cross-functional teams
  • Consistent track record of using data to make decisions and measure outcomes
  • Ownership mentality with strong execution capability and a drive to achieve results
  • High empathy and curiosity
  • Hard with a willingness to dive deep into the details
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, startup environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in a Real Estate or related areas (mortgage, title/escrow, homeowners insurance) is a bonus
  • B.A., B.S. or equivalent
