Position Overview

We are seeking a high-performance Product manager to drive the next generation of Developer Experience for Autodesk Forge, the Autodesk Cloud Platform Developer Ecosystem. Forge is at the heart of enabling millions of third-party developers and users build innovate, unique, and impactful solutions using Autodesk technology, know-how, and data.

The Forge Developer Experience includes the developer portal, connecting users with useful marketing, sample code, API/SDK documentation, API credential management, and the Autodesk App Store, where developers can connect their solutions with Autodesk's large customers across our diverse range of industries.

As a product leader, you will build simple experiences to solve complex customer needs, accelerate developer productivity, and work across internal stakeholders, Autodesk customers, third-party developers, and strategic alliances. You will help shape the future of how third-party developers build on Autodesk's unique technologies and how people across the world can benefit.

You will be the voice of the customer (ID and solve important customer problems), build and maintain product roadmaps, and a key player in establishing the broader platform product strategy. You'll work with designers, engineers, and researchers to conduct user research, validate solutions and launch software products.

Responsibilities

  • Manage expectations of stakeholders through frequent and clear communication of vision, strategy, and product roadmap
  • Collaborate with designers and researchers to advocate for, plan, and execute user research and solution validation plans
  • Use a lean product mindset to drive product decisions and roadmap development
  • Document user needs in workflows, use cases, or customer journeys
  • Set and evaluate product success using qualitative and quantitative measures
  • Practice facilitative leadership to drive decision making and prioritization towards positive team and product outcomes
  • Contribute to the product management culture at Autodesk



Minimum Qualifications

  • 5+ years working as Senior Product Manager
  • Experience building, launching, and iterating online experiences web portals, etc.
  • Experience with software developer-focused products such as APIs & SDKs
  • Ability to break down complex problems into user-focused solutions
  • Experience managing high-traffic web properties or online experiences
  • Experience defining and tracking product metrics
  • Experience evaluating a quickly moving competitive landscape
  • Strong project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and persuasive presentation skills
  • Passion for enabling manufacturers, builders, engineers, and makers to build new workflows from raw data
  • Familiarity with cloud computing and the way distributed systems interact
  • Ability to travel 5-10%
