What you’ll be doing
The Data Science & Insights team is a new squad at Alloy that will own how we deliver both productionized models and insights and recommendations to our clients. The squad is part of our larger Platform vertical and reports to the Director of Product Management for Platform. Alloy gets better for our clients the longer they use us because we learn about their final credit, fraud and compliance outcomes and guide our clients in how best to use Alloy. That includes leveraging our in house models, building custom models, deploying new rules and tools, and detecting and responding to changes in real time (such as a fraud attack).
Our Data Science & Insights team sits at the heart of that value proposition. Early initiatives led by this SPM would include: maturing our client-specific entity fraud model, detecting and alerting on fraud attacks, writing the playbook for a fraud investigation and looking at how we might productize that playbook, and more!
As the Senior Product Manager for Data Science & Insights at Alloy, you’ll:
Lead the Product strategy, prioritization, and requirements for Alloy’s modeling and analytics team.
Partner closely with Engineering leaders to stand up the dedicated Data Science & Insights squad as part of the Platform vertical.
Become an expert on Alloy’s current use of data to form opinions about how we evolve our data infrastructure and modeling capabilities as well as the question we should be answering with that data.
Partner with all other Product and Engineering leaders to thoroughly understand how they leverage our data and identify feature opportunities.
Translate those insights into a strategy and long-term product roadmap for Data Science & Insights.
Help develop and introduce standardized processes to scale our organization and enhance cross-team collaboration.
