ENTERPRISE TECHNOLOGY & SERVICES
Enterprise Technology & Services (ETS) delivers shared technology services for Morgan Stanley supporting all business applications and end users. ETS provides capabilities for all stages of Morgan Stanley's software development lifecycle, enabling productive coding, functional and integration testing, application releases, and ongoing monitoring and support for over 3,000 production applications. ETS also delivers all workplace technologies (desktop, mobile, voice, video, productivity, intranet/internet) in integrated configurations that boost the personal productivity of employees. Application and end user functions are delivered on a scalable, secure, and reliable infrastructure composed of seamlessly integrated datacenter, network, compute, cloud, storage, and database functions.
BU Enablement for Public Cloud Product Owner (VP)
The Public Cloud Transformation Services (PCTS) team is responsible for accelerating public cloud adoption throughout Morgan Stanley. This is a global, multi-discipline team responsible for architecting and delivering secure, robust, and innovative solutions which enable development teams to build and deploy new applications as well as migrate select existing applications into the public cloud.
This role is for a product owner who will work closely with internal customers on delivering best in class public cloud solutions. The ideal candidate will have a background in application development in on-prem or cloud platforms, a passion for customer satisfaction and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and the squad to deliver solutions.
Primary responsibilitie
Lead the delivery of cloud infrastructure automation to support public cloud adoption
Work on multiple cloud use cases simultaneously and manage customer prioritie
Clearly establish goals for the agile squad, communicate priorities and ensure delivery
Engage with other internal or external teams as needed to help customers adopt public cloud
Qualifications:
Skills Required
Strong desire to work with development teams and help them adopt public cloud
Demonstrated experience working with stakeholders and managing their prioritie
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a global organization and across time zone
Strong communication and collaboration skill
Ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to diverse audience
Demonstrated experience working within an Agile/DevOps environment
Background in Application Development in Java/Python/.Net and/or data (SQL, NoSQL, Big Data)
Skill Desired
Knowledge of the Azure Platform and common Azure service
Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform, Ansible or ARM
Experience working in Linux and Windows environment
Experience with other cloud providers such as AWS
Understanding of cloud security controls and frameworks and experience building them
