Job Description
CVS Health, a Fortune 5 company, is seeking a consultant or healthcare strategist with 5+ years of experience for our Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) division. Working from home, the Medicare Insights Senior Manager will join a team guided by a strategic growth mindset and ability to collaborate and share ideas to help the PBM's Medicare health plan clients achieve their goals. Senior Managers own the end-to-end development of strategic, market-specific insights and growth recommendations for clients, directly interacting with health plan executives.
Senior Managers must be strong strategic thinkers who can connect a range of data points to bring clients competitive intelligence and actionable insights tailored to their business goals and market landscape. They take a holistic view of all the variables that may impact a client's growth and success - including market growth, competitive environment, product strategies, channel strategies, marketing strategies, consumer research, etc. They strive to understand a client's goals and pain points, asking the right questions to get at the main issues and then drawing conclusions from the data collected.
Essential functions:• Market analysis: Gather and analyze data on existing and potential client markets, as well as create market assessment deliverables to all levels of health plan leadership.• New business opportunities: Provide data-driven insights and growth recommendations to help clients assess market and/or product expansion.• Opportunity assessment: Leverage data and knowledge of Medicare industry and competitive environment to inform growth assumptions.• Produce deliverables: Create PowerPoint decks that clearly communicate business story and key takeaways, and then present insights and recommendations directly to health plan client executives. Act as point person for content and structure thinking.• Subject matter expert (SME): Serve as a SME for clients and internal business leaders and team. This includes staying abreast of industry trends and regulatory changes, and how they may affect the PBM and our clients.
Required Qualifications• 5+ years of Healthcare experience specifically in; marketing, business development, strategy, consulting or other relevant industry experience• Ability to travel up to 15% (post COVID-19)

Preferred Qualifications
- Medicare Advantage, Medicare Part D and/or Medicaid experience
- Relevant industry experience for a large, matrixed organization
- Product Strategy experience
- MBA or other master's degree strongly preferred
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or relevant discipline required
