The Product Specialist is an important role in the sales organization that focuses on supporting and enabling the sales team to more effectively position and sell Amplify core curriculum materials.
The position will provide support to the sales team across three primary areas: (1) Support strategic customer and prospect meetings by presenting core and supplemental Amplify literacy solutions with the sales team as a product expert, (2) provide product support for internal teams, including sales, product development, and marketing.
** This role is remote and not located at either of our two home office locations.
Responsibilities Product Specialist - Literacy

• Work in partnership with sales staff to develop, support, and close sales opportunities
• Collaborate with sales to provide internal product training
• Develop customer-facing workshops that position Amplify solutions in pre-sales opportunities
• Present Amplify core and supplemental literacy solutions to administrators and teacher committee teams
• Maintain knowledge and expertise in educational trends
• Participate in Amplify PD training and build knowledge as an Amplify branded trainer and presenter

Basic Qualifications of the Product Specialist:

• Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years' experience in K-12 education
• Must have the ability to travel at least 60%

Preferred Qualifications of the Product Specialist:

• Advanced degree and teaching credential (past or current)
• Demonstrated understanding of literacy instruction grounded in the Science of Reading
• Classroom experience preferred
• School or district level administration experience
• Experience working in an Educational Technology company
• Bilingual in English/Spanish is desirable
