At DNSFilter we have a singular mission: to challenge the way the industry thinks about security via DNS. We support over 14,000 organizations, including Fortune 500 customers like NVIDIA, and Lenovo, and provide DNS security to more than 4 million end users. And we are growing quickly! At the start of 2020, our software was processing 1B queries/day. As we close out 2021 we're now processing an average of 17B queries/day! In the middle of a global pandemic, our team (and product) thrived. We doubled the size of our team, and we're looking to do it all over again in 2022.
To help realize our product vision and sustain our growth, we are looking for an experienced Product Manager who is technically inclined.
You will:

• Understand, demo, and articulate our core technology and customer features, use, and requests for new capabilities
• Onboard customers into private previews of new product features
• Be the voice of customer segments, with verifiable links back to specific current or future accounts
• Aid leading the customer advisory board, feedback and follow through
• Aid in assessment of competitive landscape
• Define and track success metrics and follow ups
• Travel, as required, to customer sites or conferences

You have:

• Excellent English speaking (read / write / present) ability
• Confidence to represent company and self well
• 5+ years experience working in a product management capacity for software development
• Demonstrated success in launching technical products
• Proven ability to influence cross functional teams without formal authority
• The ability to keep work hours that mostly overlap with 9am-5pm Eastern, Monday through Friday.
• A strong commitment to collaborative work in a remote environment
• Attention to detail and pride in your work

• General understanding of technology architecture, interfaces/integrations, computer networking protocols and DNS
• Experience representing organizations to customers, advisors, analysts, and the general technology market

Bonus Points for:

• Past experience working in a fast-paced private equity or venture capital-backed company
• Strong understanding computer programming, data structure design and UI/UX
• Remote working experience
