Our end-to-end population genomics platform enables health systems, life sciences companies, and payers to advance genomic research and accelerate the integration of genomic data into routine clinical care. We support all aspects of population genomics from recruitment to translational research and help our partners use genomics to improve health outcomes, increase patient engagement, and lower costs.   Leading health systems, including Renown Health, AdventHealth, and Mayo Clinic, use our population genomics platform to power some of the world’s largest and fastest-growing population genomics initiatives.

For the COVID-19 public health crisis, Helix has built one of the nation’s largest COVID diagnostic labs and has been on the leading edge of national viral surveillance efforts tracking B.1.1.7 and other viral strains.

As a Product Manager, you will:

• Drive the product development lifecycle end-to-end with a strong sense of communication and leadership
• Transform the high-level vision of the business and your stakeholders into detailed requirements
• Lead and participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming, and daily stand-ups to ensure a steady flow and success of the team’s work
• Collaborate with engineers, product design, internal commercial stakeholders, customer success and other product managers to enable the company to expand and have the ability to make data informed decisions
• Work to understand cross functional and external requirements to ensure you’re making educated decisions, your stakeholders are supported, and our products are working seamlessly
• Monitor system health, investigate issues, and prioritize fixes with a sense of ownership
• Partner with product leadership to help drive why and when certain product needs should be addressed, driving your team’s roadmap development, quarterly planning activities, and release management

Required:

• 3+ years of relevant product experience, working in a cross-functional or customer facing role
• Track record of defining and shipping successful and quality projects
• Extremely strong communication and leadership skills
• Intense attention to detail
• An interest in genetics, life sciences, or diagnostic testing
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and make decisions
• Working knowledge of Agile
• The prospect of building a category-defining product excites you!

Nice to have:

• Product experience in health tech or related fields
• Experience in a regulated organization, including experience with HIPAA, CCPA/CPRA, GDPR 

• Product analytics, or engineering experience
