Department OverviewProvides comprehensive analysis in assessing and valuing current and new business opportunities. Develops plans to align with Motorola Solutions strategic objective for growth. Analyzes cost control, business effectiveness, and capacity utilization. Works with management in strategy development, planning, project management, and operational initiatives.
Job Description
Drive relevant NA/LA Business Radio business cases and prioritization
Drive focus groups or relevant resource pool to vet the validity of pipeline features and prioritization for NA
Drive alignment with new feature requirements in pending field requirements for NA with Global Teams
Asses win / lose strategy of business case to vet go / no go
Drive business case through engineering and confirm deliverable functionality as required to adhere to the business case
Own all system and hardware releases and drive go to market activities including but not limited to:
Field training of value proposition and positioning
Region specific sales tactics
Region specific content
Order-ability
Marcom
Pricing strategy
Cancellations and promotions
Drive NA Sales Enablement:
Audit needs of the field support teams and drive product team support to provide presentations via relevant speakers (SME / CSE calls)
General “how to” field support
Identify and drive non system release training needs
Additional Qualified Skills:
Requires knowledge of Product Life Cycles and Agile process
Strong Presentation skills: PowerPoint
Ability to understand technical information and present it in the form of simplified information
Must be a self starter and be able to identify strategic business opportunities without management direction
Basic Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required
1+ years of experience working with business to business is a MUST
