Position Overview

In this role, you will be reporting to the Innovation Hub Director representing the voice of the customer and will be a key player in establishing strategies to address market problems. You'll work with designers, engineers, and researchers to conduct user research, prototype and validate solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the central key piece between strategy, users, technology, partners, and the team
  • Interact with users and customers to fully understand the problems they are facing in their workflows to craft problem statements
  • Lead prototyping efforts and solution development
  • Manage expectations of stakeholders through frequent and clear communication of vision, strategy, and roadmap
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, and researchers to advocate for, plan, and execute user research and solution validation plans
  • Use a lean product mindset to drive product decisions and roadmap development
  • Document user needs in workflows, user stories, or customer journeys
  • Set and evaluate product success using qualitative and quantitative measures
  • Practice facilitative leadership to drive decision making and prioritization towards positive team and product outcomes
  • Lead meetings and facilitate meaningful discussions and decision making



Minimum Qualifications

  • A problem solver who is thrilled to break down complex problems and design elegant solutions
  • A leader who sets goals, measures success, and enables their teammates to do their best work
  • A customer advocate who can weigh competing priorities and maintain an ongoing feedback loop between internal teams and external customers
  • A teammate who facilitates team growth and continuous improvement
  • An energetic presenter who can tell compelling stories and actively listen to feedback



Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years working as Product Manager or Product Owner in an agile software environment
  • BS degree in Computer Science or similar
  • Experience with shipping technical products
  • Ability to break down complex problems into user-focused solutions
  • Experience defining and tracking product metrics
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and persuasive presentation skills
  • Ability to communicate complex technical details to both technical and non-technical audiences
