We are looking for an entrepreneurial, seasoned product manager to own the internationalization charter at Uber. The flagship product you will manage is responsible for enabling and managing content translation and distribution across all of Uber's mobile apps, web content, and marketing. The product you ship will impact millions of consumers and earners on our platform every day. It will be used by thousands of Uber engineers, UX designers, Product teams, localization team, and translators every day. Millions of daily interactions with consumers and earners are powered by our platform with extreme efficiency and reliability.
Beyond the flagship product, you will envision and influence the future of internationalization at Uber. You will enable richer ways for content creators at Uber to collaborate, supercharge our content experimentation capabilities, envision how machine learning can create more personalized, localized content that will delight our consumers and earners, and much more.

What You'll Do
• Lead and envision the future for Uber's internationalization platform that powers all our internationalization needs. Build towards the vision with a clear, prioritized roadmap.• Evolve our platform to be industry leading, building for Uber's unique needs and demonstrating the best from the industry.• Work with partners across the company, from engineers, product teams, design, marketing, localization, and UX writers to understand their current and future needs. Evolve our suite of products and integrations with various other products to delight them.• Conceptualize and ship bold new products bets that enable us to drive business value by making Uber feel 'local for everyone, everywhere'.• Monitor and measure launched products, using insights to drive growth and delight.• Clearly communicate product vision, roadmap, and impact to a spectrum of audiences, from internal partners to the executive team.• You are passionate about platforms - building them, scaling them, and enabling new business opportunities on them.• Experience building products from 0-1
Basic Qualifications
• Minimum 4 years of Product Management experience.• Technically proficient: You have collaborated with engineers in developing the technical architecture of the products you have built.
Preferred Qualifications
• Customer obsession: You are passionate about understanding your customers, and building experiences to delight them. You can proudly showcase several examples of this.• Crisp understanding of the Product process: Defining user goals, operationalizing them, strong prioritization, iterative product development process.• Collaborative: Ability to build strong relationships with a wide variety of partners. This role will require you to work with other Product and engineering teams, Design, Operations, Marketing.• Thinking from first principles: You don't assume things or take the status quo for granted. You base your solutions on data, product instinct, and a hypothesis + experimentation driven approach.• Vision: You can inspire teams with your multi year vision. You can build towards your vision with a coherent quarterly roadmap.
