Blue Yonder Job Title: Product Development Ops Analyst (Remote)

Overview:

A Product Development Operations Analyst supports various groups by enabling teams to deliver and operate Blue Yonder software, primarily those delivered as a SaaS service. Assist teams in meeting release management requirements, help document software development and operations processes, and implement and enforce processes to govern usage and costs of various SaaS tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Support tools requests during U.S. working hours, transitioning pending issues to other regions to support 24x5 operations.
  • Under direction of other team members, collect usage and cost data for tools and provide visibility to management and teams on strategies to reduce cost
  • Write and update documentation on Wikis, SharePoint sites, and other electronic media to support teams with adopting new tooling and processes
  • Monitor and respond to queries from developers
  • Find suitable work items in the team backlog with the help of other team members.
  • Participates in team activities such as review of tickets, daily standups, and retrospectives.
  • Supports in resolving incidents around a limited set of service functions, reaching out to vendors where required.
  • Independently handles service requests around a limited set of service functions.



Required skills:

  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to organize data and present it at an aggregate level (such as usage, cost by product or segment)
  • Desirable: High level understanding of Cloud-based tools (knowledge of GitHub, BlackDuck, Artifactory is a plus)
  • Good understanding of computer security principles and how should be enforced
  • Ability to work in a face-paced environment with multiple priorities.
