Managed Services Product Manager

Dell Technologies Managed Services provides a full range of operational services to help enterprises achieve operational excellence. We are hiring a Product Manager to develop new offerings, pricing, and customer experience for cloud operational services customers as part of the Managed Services portfolio team. Work with the Managed Services Practice leaders and your partners in Marketing and Sales to translate service capabilities into compelling market offers defined based on customer uses cases. We lead and deliver the entire lifecycle, from product definition and planning through to production and release. We also oversee modifications, upgrades and maintenance of the product or product line.

What you'll achieve

In this Product Manager role, you will identify new growth areas, technologies and emerging product/service opportunities. You will conduct in-depth market analysis to optimize existing products/solutions and build next generation products, partnering closely with the Engineering and Product Management teams to build a product road map and align product strategies for the business. Ideally you possess a strong product management background, are business savvy, and comfortable engaging with enterprise customers, sales and every facet of the business. You should have a demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and positioning, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions, identify gaps and analyze business opportunities.

You will:

  • Use Lean Software Development processes such as Agile, Scrum and Kanban
  • Author strategy docs, white papers, market research and vision documents along with user stories for current and future products
  • Present strategic product communications across multiple stakeholder organizations
  • Manage the entire product life cycle, prototyping and testing new features and changes to our product and processes

Essential Requirements:

  • 5 to 8 years' experience in technical Product Management
  • Experience in defining long-term product strategy and vision
  • Business and entrepreneurial acumen with strategic and critical thinking
  • Strong technical acumen with a history of building/delivering enterprise products
  • Experience defining projects, collecting requirements, writing detailed functional specifications, coordinating efforts to scope and scheduling and deploying new feature sets
  • Experience in writing product and customer requirements and using qualitative and quantitative data to prioritize decision-making
  • Be a strong leader and excellent communicator who can drive consensus and articulate program recommendations and trade-offs to senior executives



Desirable Requirements:

  • Strong technical skills in IT, datacenter, edge computing systems, Cloud, compute, storage, networking and security
  • Previous experience managing Software-as-a-Service technology products and managed services
  • Understanding of the Enterprise services space, particularly managed services and system integration
  • Experience with building products, services and messaging for partners, resellers, and consulting companies
  • Ability to analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, and scope business requirements
  • Ability to deliver initiatives from conception through completion
  • Ability to develop new ideas and creative solutions
