The Digital Product Manager will work with UHC business partners to manage member portal projects and business projects supported by UHC Digital and lead &/or collaborate with business partners on Digital products and projects from ideation through delivery and optimization.
The focus of the Digital Product Manager will be building relationships with all UHC business partners to improve communications, collaboration and coordination to realize UHC business goals. The Product Manager will also be responsible to create product strategy, product vision & value-based delivery plans and execution.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Build collaborative relationship with UHC business partners including Sales, Marketing, Business Operations, Product, Clinical Services, Shared Services, Rally and Optum
  • Develop and execute on the product strategy and roadmap
  • Develop and manage the inventory of all projects impacting the digital member experience including those sponsored by UHC business partners and by other UHC, Rally or Optum partners
  • Engage and collaborate with project sponsors to jointly define emerging projects and shepherd them through the Digital development process
  • Lead ad hoc projects with cross functional teams supporting key business goals
  • Develop and maintain regular communications to support leadership and business partner team communications
  • Coordinate product and project updates with UHC stakeholders including the Go-To-Market and Operations teams
  • Work with stakeholders to build a process to identify new product features that will impact digital with the goal of capturing requirements for digital products
  • Work closely with experience design, operations, marketing and delivery partners to ensure effective "team-of-teams" execution
  • Represent UHC Digital for internal partner or external client presentations as needed
  • Work with BAs and PMs to manage all commitments made through requirements, planning and delivery

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience working in the digital space
  • 2+ years of demonstrated portfolio of user-centric digital experiences with proven, positive impacts to engagement and KPIs
  • 2+ years of experience in digital product management
  • Experience working with clients (managing expectations, managing delivery dates)
  • Experience working in a matrixed environment
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary teams comprising product managers, project managers, marketers and engineering
  • Knowledge of current digital web and application standards
  • Solid ability to absorb and make sense of large amounts of data, information and perspectives to direct decision making

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $97,300 to $176,900. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $97,300 to $176,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
