Job Purpose:

The Senior Digital Product leader is a key product leadership role that is accountable for defining, delivering, and managing the lifecycle for our digital product portfolio strategy. This leadership role will manage the strategic product vision, product discovery and roadmaps to maximize the customer and enterprise value provided by the digital product portfolio. This leader must be able to navigate, partner, and influence across the business unit and enterprise to align the digital product roadmap into the larger execution operating model with the business unit.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Inspire and lead a growing team to create, drive, and execute holistic product strategies for the digital product portfolio
  • Define and manage OKRs to measure the success of the functions efforts and to inform the overall product portfolio roadmaps
  • Engage in discovery/test and learn activities to quickly validate concepts as appropriate for backlog investments
  • Shape team engagement to invest significant time understanding consumer insights and learnings to understand their needs, habits, and elicit their feedback to potential product concepts and or/related product iterations
  • Make build, buy and/or partner recommendations to advance digital product strategy and meet or exceed business unit objectives
  • Partner with stakeholders inside and outside of the enterprise, and present to business teams and executives as the digital product leader and expert
  • Coach and mentor members of the team, the boarder product team, as well as members of the cross functional digital organization
  • Accomplish department objectives by managing staff and supervisors. Define annual team objectives to set top performance expectations and drive consistent standards of responsibility and performance.
  • Recruit, select, orientate and train employees. Accomplish team results by communicating job expectations, coaching, counseling and disciplining.
  • Provide guidance and direction to a team with ability to performance manage including hire and fire.
  • Manage development and recommendation of new techniques and processes to support innovative solutions
  • Weigh alternatives and considers service and business implications of decisions
  • Oversees budgets and operational effectiveness
  • Develops strategies for adjusted courses of action
  • Understands marketplace with respect to the competition, leverage that expertise to drive product innovation and capture market opportunities.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, marketing or related degree. May also have advanced degree
  • 10 or more years of relevant professional experience
  • Proven leadership experience in a fast-paced technology environment.
  • Demonstrated success in directing and executing new digital product development activities (including managing/partnering for what it takes beyond software development: marketing, operations, business development, sales).
  • Entrepreneurial with an inclination towards action, preferably with experience at a fintech, insurtech, or start up.
  • Experience operating in an environment driven by OKRs where you had the accountability to determine the best course of action to meet your numbers.
  • Ability to communicate complex and innovative concepts to stakeholders to drive decision making and buy-in

Compensation may vary based on the job level, your geographic work location, position incentive plan and exemption status.

Base Salary Range:
$109,000.00 - $163,500.00
