What You Will Be Doing
In this role you will work with other members of the module validation team to develop testing that ensures no module design or active component issues cause fails during customer qualification and field use. Module validation is a growing importance for DRAM engineering as PCBs require faster speeds and more active components on newer generations of memory.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

  • Develop flows to test Micron DRAM's compatibility on modules with 3rd party active chips such as PMIC, RCD, and DB devices.
  • Write test code on Micron's proprietary module ATE testers to implement validation flows.
  • Run validation flows to detect any potential quality issues and feedback to design groups.
  • Act as an SME within product engineering for any issues involving module operation.
  • Champion ATE tester requirements to ensure our ability to test future generations of DRAM modules.
  • Use tools such as an oscilloscope to debug high-speed tester issues in a lab environment.
  • Collaboration with MDG, SCG, DFT and TSE groups in order to differentiate module issues from system/DRAM issues and drive root cause analysis and test/validation coverage additions.

Education & Experience Necessary for Success

  • Strong technical acumen, with ability to learn the technical details around module operation and provide valuable technical contribution.
  • Strong coding skills in order to develop test code on Micron's module ATE test platform.
  • Understanding of DRAM operation, signal integrity concepts, and ability to comprehend data sheets for non-DRAM active devices.
  • A BS or MS in Electrical or Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

Behaviors:

  • Strong technical acumen.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to take high level goals and prioritize tasks to accomplish those goals
  • Great interpersonal skills and a track record as a strong collaborator
  • Strong critical thinking
  • Self-motivation and enthusiasm.
