Job Description As part of Risk Management and Compliance, you are at the center of keeping JPMorgan Chase strong and resilient. Chase is investing in innovative ways to attract customers, and expand existing relationships and profitability through exceptional customer experiences that cross the digital and non-digital channels. The ambition is to position Chase as the undisputed leader in payments and financial services and to enable Chase to deliver the highly personalized, secure and convenient real time experiences that customers increasingly expect.
We are continuing to build the product team that drives the investment strategy for detecting and stopping criminals as they attempt payments fraud across the contact center, branch and digital channels. In the role of Product Owner for Fraud Decisioning, you will define and deliver the product capabilities required by fraud loss line owners and data scientists.

  • Partnering with Authentication, Payments, Wealth Management and Fraud Risk product owners, data scientists, and fraud strategists on various initiatives
  • Working with internal stakeholders to translate business needs into a product strategies, and to help drive consensus among those stakeholders.
  • Prioritizing and maintaining the product roadmap and pipeline
  • Writing requirements for fraud solutions relevant to new payments and authentication capabilities and configurable for different lines of business
  • Working closely with our technology partners on the design and delivery of these requirements in planned releases
  • Providing expertise and direction on how to best leverage 3rd part data, from outside of the Chase firewalls (e.g., beneficiary intelligence, carrier, email, device reputation, IP intelligence, etc.)
  • Conducting periodic roadmap quarterly reviews with key stakeholders (plan vs. actual, key milestones/deliverables, management focus items, etc.)
  • Managing the interdependencies between your product releases and other Product delivery teams and activities required for E2E delivery of broad initiatives
  • Partnering with the risk operations team to develop usage and operating models for new capabilities


Minimum Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of experience in product management for either fraud detection, authentication, or account opening for financial institutions
  • Experience with agile product delivery methods
  • Ability to work independently and operate with a high sense of urgency
  • Ability to thrive in a matrix environment and build partnerships with colleagues at various levels, across multiple locations
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to multi-task in a constantly changing environment; demonstrates a positive, can-do attitude
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including influencing and presentation skills
  • Financials - ability to develop and communicate product development business cases
  • Demonstrable stakeholder management skills
  • Understanding of data-driven product development
  • The ability to think strategically and influence without direct authority
  • Bachelor's degree


Additional Skills, Experience and Qualifications
The following additional items will be considered but are not required for this role:

  • Experience with financial crime or risk management business solutions
  • Experience with investment and private banking
  • Experience working with 3rd party vendors
  • Knowledge of current digital banking trends
  • Masters Degree
