The Associate Product Owner contributes to a collaborative environment where usable, viable, and feasible solutions are developed to meet the business needs of customers.


  • Work from a vision instead of being solely task-oriented
  • Work with product management and other project stakeholders to elicit business requirements; collaborate on the development of metrics to determine product success
  • Assist UX research and design activities
  • Create wireframes and workflow diagrams as needed to illustrate requirements
  • Work with distributed teams during development & QA to provide guidance and ensure business requirements and functional specifications are met
  • Build strong business relationships across functional teams involved in releasing or supporting the solution and ensure a smooth transition of new products and features into production
  • Deliver consistent, clear, and timely communication (both written and verbal) to project stakeholders
  • Identify, track and help remove impediments adversely affecting delivery expectations
  • Manage team resource needs, risks, issues, project scope and contingency plans, while escalating to leadership when appropriate


  • Minimum 1 year experience in Information Technology
  • Familiarity with project management principles
  • Familiarity with agile development principles
  • Familiarity with user experience design principles and methods

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Familiarity with a programming or scripting language (e.g. Python, Javascript, R, SQL, etc.)
  • Familiar in one or more industry-standard prototyping tools (e.g., Invision, Figma, Balsamiq, etc.)

  • Work Ethic - Setting high standards for ones work; taking care to ensure all aspects of work are completed accurately
  • Customer Service - Treating clients/customers with a high level of respect and taking action in order to meet or exceed expectations and resolve problems
  • Motivation - Highly motivated individual with a genuine interest in improving and creating solutions
