Our Opportunity:

Chewy is hiring a customer-centric Associate Director, Marketing Product Manager, to manage Chewy Gives Back from one of our hub locations in Boston, Plantation, Minneapolis, or Bellevue. This position will play a pivotal role in communicating the giving back message and supporting Animal Welfare Organizations and the animals in their care. In this position, you will be the driving force behind building our brand and fueling commerce through advertising across Chewy owned and operated sites and assets. You are a steward of the Chewy brand, ensuring every customer experience (internal and external) meets our high-quality standards. We are looking for an experienced e-commerce marketer to develop and execute the CGB marketing strategy in collaboration with the Product, Operations and Design teams. The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated self-starter with a proven track record of driving acquisition and engagement through innovative marketing campaigns. Keys to success also include a strong sense of ownership and accountability, bias for action, customer obsession and ability to excel in a highly ambiguous environment.


What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the strategic development and execution of Chewy Gives Back Marketing and Advertising
    capabilities for one of the fastest growing retail companies.
  • Clearly communicate the value proposition of Chewy Gives Back to new and existing customers as well as Animal Welfare Organizations; refine messaging on an ongoing basis, educating about new features and functionality.
  • Develop and execute the marketing plan: establish the marketing mix, manage the marketing budget, and report marketing results to executive leadership.
  • Lead diverse initiatives for traffic and demand generation across internal and external organic and paid traffic channels.
  • Collaborate with brand marketing, PR, and all channel teams on cross-platform marketing campaigns.
  • Build, execute, analyze, and optimize marketing campaigns based on strategic objectives.
  • Drive creative asset production in partnership with design and content team.
  • Lead marketing relationships and drive marketing performance with external partners.
  • Develop in depth marketing proposals, from concept to contract, that drive
    value against key goals. Tie KPIs and reporting metrics to specific
    business areas of opportunity.
  • Meticulously own multiple projects; ensuring clearly articulated strategies
    with flawless execution.
  • Read customer reviews obsessively, extracting key insights; collaborate with the Product Manager and Operations Manager to improve the customer experience based on those insights. 

 

What You’ll Need:

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in digital, mobile, content marketing. 
  • Advanced working knowledge of the e-commerce platform and framework, as well as digital and traditional marketing tactics and KPI’s.  Proficient in e-commerce and retail business acumen. 
  • Proven experience in planning and delivering scalable marketing investment framework and product.
  • Experience working with product, tech and data teams.
  • Ability to use data analysis to inform business opportunities and translate those into action plans.
  • Proven ability to influence across the organization, including with members of executive leadership. 
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive under pressure and deadlines.
  • Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a technical/quantitative field. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Position may require travel.
  • Experience leading a team is a plus.
  • Thrive in fast-paced culture with ability to make sound decisions.
