Job Description
- Work with Process Mechanical Engineers, Technicians and Assemblers for product line transfer and sustaining of current production line.
- Take charge of product and process qualification, risk assessment and implements them for manufacturing processes from prototype stage to mass production which comply to Agilent’s Product Life Cycle process & Quality Management System.
- Involve in new product development and responsible for the DFM, DFT and DFS for meeting the Quality, Manufacturing deliverables and conformance with global supply chain and mass production including any assembly fixture/tooling and integration in manufacturing shopfloor system.
- Lead and work closely together with cross functional teams in Continuous Engineering Improvement for product yield, DeFOA and warranty failure rates to meet the goals for product quality, costs and production efficiency.
- Perform an in-depth and structured Failure Analysis on customer failures and implement necessary improvements to improve overall product quality and reliability.
- May redesign products or components to meet cost objectives, component obsolescence and customer requirement.
- Plan, evaluate, recommend, and conduct engineering evaluations or special builds in support of business growth objectives and supply chain optimization.
- Able to lead the development of test methodology/flow, test station and test software to achieve test platform standardization and optimization.
- May direct the work of third-party vendors and/or partners to meet contract specified deliverables, performance, or business objectives.
- Identify and manage ERP data such as bill of materials and routing requirement for manufacturing processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor or Master in Electronics/Electrical Engineering with minimum 8 years of working experience.
- Experience as a Product Engineer for instruments or integrated systems are preferred.
- Self-starter and proven track record of results in setting, implementing complex engineering projects and achieving the goals and demonstrated levels of creativity.
- Possess strong engineering and analytical problem-solving skills.
- Design/production experience in Analog, Digital control, digital signal processing and PCBA.
- Experience with test and measurement equipment such as power analyzer, oscilloscope, pressure gauge.
- Experience with software such as C#, Python, Labview, etc. will be an added advantage.
- Strong team player, with excellent collaboration, oral and written communication skills.
- Experience involving transfer of complex electronic and precision instruments is preferred.
- Knowledge of Statistics, Lean Manufacturing principles, and Six Sigma.
