ABOUT THE POSITION:
•Test bench setup and maintenance of multiple HiL platforms (e.g. wire/connect IO interface from HiL to plant meter and other emulated sub-systems, data acquisition equipment, etc.)
•Support preparation of equipment OEM's model implementation on HiL and integration with F.OS
•Support layout and design of grid model for controls validation tests (defined by tender/code/product team).
•Support configuration, integration, and deployment of Fluence controls and telecommunications to HIL platforms
•Execute/run/automate/troubleshoot tests and produce test report
•Support Controls HIL, Power HIL, system and component testing in the lab
•Ensure lab and testing safety.
What will our ideal candidate bring to Fluence?
•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Controls Engineering (or equivalent) and 3 years of industry experience
•Experience with RTDS, Typhoon HIL (Control Center), OPAL-RT (Hypersim), or other HIL platform and software
•Experience in designing, executing and analyzing test cases for hardware and software validation.
•Familiar with SCADA systems and communication protocols such as Modbus RTU/TCP, CAN, UDP etc.
•Understanding of power plant controls and grid code requirements.
•Confident user of electronic systems including but not limited to transducers, amplifiers, power supplies, oscilloscopes, multimeters, A/D converters etc.
