Team & Context
As part of the Procurement team, you will play a strategic role in managing technology-related partnerships and procurement activities within a dynamic and evolving multicultural environment.
The technologies and services you will help purchase or integrate through partnerships are directly embedded into our own MX.3 product and services. As such, your work will have a direct impact on our core value proposition and market positioning, contributing to our company’s success.
Key Responsibilities
Internal Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with teams across Product, Development, IT, Information Security, and SaaS to identify and formalize procurement and partnership needs.
Enterprise Alignment: Challenge, influence, and align internal stakeholders including Executive Management, Finance, and Legal to secure agreements that serve the broader enterprise.
Contract Negotiation & Management: Lead complex negotiations with global suppliers (e.g., Microsoft, AWS, Oracle), to develop strategic partnerships and formalize legal and commercial terms in coordination with the Legal department.
Supplier Relationship Management: Define governance structures and develop long-term relationships across the supplier organization, enabling continuous performance measurement and improvement.
Strategic Initiatives: Identify and launch joint business initiatives with suppliers that align with Murex’s strategic goals, while also ensuring Murex benefits from early access to supplier innovation and emerging technologies.
Risk Management: Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to supplier lock-in, regulatory changes, security incidents, and cost escalation.
Operational Balance: Ensure that time-sensitive business needs are met without compromising on contractual and regulatory rigor.
Procurement Transformation & Maturity: Contribute to the enhancement of procurement processes, tools, and policies to improve agility and regulatory compliance.
Profile
Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Procurement, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 7 years of experience in technology procurement, ideally within a fintech or complex enterprise environment, combined with a strong interest in technology (cloud, SaaS, AI, cybersecurity, etc.)
Proven ability to build and maintain strategic partnerships through complex negotiations and to influence enterprise-wide alignment, under high-pressure or asymmetric power dynamics.
A business partner mindset and the ability to foster strong collaborative relationships both internally and externally.
Sharp analytical mindset with a strong grasp of contractual rigor and operational constraints.
Excellent communication skillls, Fluent in English, French is a plus.
