At Valeo Powertrain Systems in Czechowice-Dziedzice we produce advanced drive systems for the automotive industry. We design and produce electric drive motors for passenger cars. We also deal with other drive systems that help reduce fuel consumption and lower exhaust emissions - including the creation of innovative electric turbochargers. We are one of the few factories in Poland that produce electric motors and focus on a large product variety. We also have a modern R&D center where we improve our products.
Job Description:
Technical responsibility for low-voltage products (with and without HW/SW systems);
Ownership of the Bill of Materials (BOM) and product functionality (internal and in front of the customer) based on customer and internal requirements;
Involvement in the product development from RFQ phase through to serial production;
Representing the R&D function to the customer;
Acting as the primary R&D interface for the customer; breaking down and cascading customer requests internally;
Establishing detailed activity breakdowns to meet customer deadlines;
Defining test specifications, planning, and supervision, including the interpretation of results;
Managing product changes, deviations, and risk assessments;
Solving production issues within the product area;
Conducting risk analysis (D-FMEA / DRBFM).
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Project Management;
Strong proficiency in technical drawing;
Professional experience in a similar role or in project development;
Knowledge of ASPICE/ASIL requirements is a strong asset;
Experience with hardware/software integrated products is preferred;
Basic system-level knowledge is an advantage;
Familiarity with automotive industry standards;
Fluency in English; knowledge of German or French is a plus;
Ability to work effectively in a team and an international environment;
Creative, proactive, and highly motivated.
