Working as part of a cross functional team, you deliver the RDQ activities required to complete new product development, portfolio maintenance and/or productivity projects with an emphasis on meeting the desired consumer experience.
How you will contribute
With the support and guidance of a manager, you will organize and execute projects in line with RDQ, marketing and manufacturing requirements, effectively communicating status and risks. You will plan and conduct pilot plant and factory trials in accordance with good manufacturing practice and HACCP requirements and development activities (e.g. product shelf-life testing, designing for quality, consumer test preparation etc.). You will also write technical reports that will require the analysis and interpretation of results and that lead to conclusions and recommendations and create and maintain accurate consumer-led specifications.

Position Purpose:
The main objective is to manage, create, and update product specification systems.The ideal candidate will combine a solid background in Food or Chemical Engineering with strong analytical and digital capabilities to ensure accurate data migration, process compliance, and effective change management.
Main Responsibilities:
  • Specification Management: Navigate, search, and extract technical information from SAP PLM and other data sources to create new product specifications and execute system modifications with minimal supervision.
  • Data Migration & Analysis: Perform mathematical conversions of formulations and execute complex calculations in Excel to translate product recipes into technical system inputs.
  • Change Management: Proactively identify roadblocks within system workflows, propose solutions, and navigate internal change control processes independently.
  • Stakeholder Alignment: Coordinate and drive alignment with various internal stakeholders on behalf of the Product Development team to ensure data completeness.
  • Process Understanding: Apply technical knowledge of manufacturing processes to recommend the best specification setups within the system.

Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or closely related technical fields.
  • Professional Experience: Minimum of 2 to 3 years of experience in Product Development, Quality, Technical Data Management, or R&D in Food & Beverage.
  • English: Advanced / Fluent.
  • Systems & Tools:
    • SAP PLM (Specification Management System): Highly desirable/preferred.
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel / Power BI.
    • Microsoft Power Platform: Knowledge or experience using Power Automate and Power Apps to optimize workflows.

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or closely related technical field.
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years experience in Product Development, Quality, Technical Data Management, or R&D in Food & Beverage.
  • Advanced/Fluent English communication and technical writing skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including complex calculations and mathematical conversions of formulations.
  • Experience with Power BI for data analysis and reporting.
  • Knowledge or experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) to optimize workflows.
  • Experience creating and maintaining product specifications and performing data migration into specification systems.
  • Familiarity with HACCP and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) requirements and pilot-plant/factory trial execution.
  • Ability to navigate SAP PLM and extract technical information (SAP PLM experience highly desirable).
  • Change management and stakeholder alignment skills to drive system workflows and internal change control processes.
