The PositionAs a Product Sustainability Specialist within the Product Stewardship & Compliance (PS&C) team in Roche’s Diagnostics Division, your main responsibility will be to support the implementation of product sustainability regulations and you will be key in translating our product sustainability strategy into reality by collaborating with various stakeholders.
Under the guidance of the Diagnostics Senior Product Sustainability Manager, the Product Sustainability Specialist ensures that Roche's sustainability strategy for sustainable products is implemented across the Diagnostics division and compliance with current and future upcoming sustainability regulations-
Your Main ResponsibilitiesKnowledge and application of regulations that may influence Life Cycle Analysis, EcoDesign, and environmental sustainability marketing claims.
Lead detailed assessments of current state versus future regulatory requirements that impact product sustainability to identify resource and data gaps.
Experience managing simultaneous multi-stakeholder projects; creating actionable project plans and defining specific outputs
We are looking for a self-motivated and decisive individual contributor with expertise in environmental sustainability standards and regulatory frameworks.
You are used to working in a matrix organisation and can influence your stakeholders.
You have demonstrated strong project management skills in your previous roles.
You demonstrate energy, passion,courage, vision and the drive to be at the forefront of innovative technological changes in a competitive environment, for the benefit of patients, our people, and the business.
Expertise/knowledge:
You have a Bachelor's Degree.
Knowledge of frameworks, standards and regulations influencing product sustainability in a technical industry
Experience implementing complex topics in large organizations
Excellent communicator, ability to influence various complex internal stakeholders in a matrix environment and influence work process changes.
Very good knowledge of English and German.
Ability to build and sustain strong collaborative relationships and networks with partners across a complex global organisation such as the Roche Diagnostics.
Ability to work independently, build trust, win support and influence without authority.
Experience with agile methodologies is a benefit
